Monique Curet is an assistant editor for PolitiFact focused on debunking online misinformation.

She has worked as a reporter covering business, agribusiness, medicine and police at The Columbus Dispatch and the Press-Register. She also worked in government for the City of Chicago.

John Pletz
Senior Reporter, Crain’s Chicago Business

John Pletz is a senior reporter at Crain’s Chicago Business, where he covers aviation, technology and cannabis. Prior to joining Crain’s, he was an assistant business editor at the Indianapolis Star, and a technology editor and reporter at the American-Statesman in Austin, Texas. Prior to becoming a business writer, John covered criminal justice. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois.
