Federal Reserve Economic Data (FRED) is an economic data aggregator that is free to the public. It contains 816,000 data series from over 100 sources including the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Federal Reserve, international central banks, and even non-federal sources like Equifax, Zillow and more. FRED is an incredible resource to use for reporting and checking statistics or even creating charts and graphs to use in stories.
